  • Using Online services

    You'll find it quick and easy to service your clients using Online services. These are some of the things you can use the system to do.

  • Go to the Policy level navigation on the left and select the Holdings page to view valuations. You’ll be able to:

    • See the current value of your client’s investments
    • View an historic valuation going back up to five years

    Go to the Client Dashboard view, under ‘Details’ select ‘Update'. You’ll be able to:

    • Update your client’s home address, email and phone number.
    • To change beneficiaries you’ll need to download and complete the Death benefit options form. Go to the Policy level navigation on the left and select ‘beneficiaries'.
    • Change your client’s retirement age from the Dashboard summary.
    • To produce a top-up illustration go to the Policy level navigation on the left and select ‘Illustration’.

    • Show your client the value of their investments
    • Include transactions over the last year
    • Show how their investment has performed over time

    If you have problems generating a report, it may be because of the pop-up blockers on your computer. Clicking Temporarily allow pop-ups may solve the problem.

    • Change the retirement age on products and create new projections, so your client can see what would happen if they retired earlier or later
    • Show the impact of money that hasn’t yet been vested (not applicable to drawdown)
    • Create backdated projections using any start date you choose. Your projection will automatically include money paid in, up to and including the start date
    • Projections for paid up policies can't be produced online.

    For each period of time you select, you can see:

    • Income so far for the policy year
    • Income history from the start of the drawdown contract, including any tax-free lump sums
    • Current income payments and the next dates income will be paid
    • Maximum GAD rate and the next time the rate will be reviewed (for pre-April 2015 business)
    • Start dates for each period
    • Transactions in date order with their contribution source. You can see their value and the number of units bought and sold in each transaction

    Members of your team can get different levels of access to Online services. The access they get depends on their role within your firm:

    • A Read Only Administrator/Adviser can view client details, but they can’t make any changes to the policies.
    • A Full Access Administrator/Adviser can use the full range of services. That means they can view and make online requests. They can also make changes for clients, such as fund switches, online increments and send secure messages.
    • A Super Administrator will be the main administrator for the system. They can allocate policies, view remuneration statements, and set permission levels.
    Change access levels for your staff

    To change access levels, talk to the Super Administrator at your company or contact us.

    If you’re a Super Administrator, you can change access levels for everyone. Just follow these steps.

    1) Click on Your Account.

    2) Select Administer Contact Roles.

    3) Find the name of the person whose role you want to change. Tick the box on the left of their name. Choose the role you want to give that person from the dropdown menu and click Set. If you want to add a new person then please call us on 0845 129 9993.

    4) Click Save Changes at the bottom of the screen.

    You’ll need to log out and then log back into Online services for your changes to take effect.
